  /  Little RIPAs Sessions

Let your kids Rip!

Getting kids into riding mountain bikes is great, that’s why at Ride In Peace Adventures we want see the mini shredders on the trails. To help we have started up LITTLE RIPAs holiday camps and after school blocks to keep them entertained.

We also offer Private sessions, check for our calendar for availability. Private Children session are usually half day (3-4 hours) and are one to one or for groups of 4 to 8 participants.

We like to match the trails and facilities we teach on, to the age and ability of the riders, so we pick between a number of local trail centres depending on what we’re doing.

Our taster and coaching sessions are aimed at riders looking to learn and develop their skills and techniques. We adapt British Cycling level 2 session plans and create a custom sessions, suited to age, ability and aims. For developing riders we like to use the Go MTB Award resources, specially developed by Cycling Scotland, but you’ll need to book in advance so that we can get them in.

Go MTB is a progressive mountain bike achievement award that enables you to advance your technical riding skills as well as learning how to look after yourself, your bike, the environment and other people, with four themes to the Award and five levels of achieve. Go MTB teaches you more than just technical skills, it aims to teach you everything you need to know to ride the Scottish hills and mountains.
